摘要
Rabbit platelets were incubated for one hour with 1-14C linoleic acid bound to albumin. The individual phospho-lipids and neutral lipid fractions were separated and the incorporation of linoleic acid determined. Phosphatidylinositol showed the highest specific activity, while the highest total activity was present in lecithin. The sphingomyelin fraction showed the lowest radioactivity levels. Among neutral lipids, triglycerides incorporated increasing amounts of linoleic acid during the incubation time, and the small cholesterol ester fraction showed only a modest incorporation of labeled linoleic acid. The significance of possible exchanges between platelet and plasma fatty acids is discussed. © 1969.
