Jejunal mucosa has been obtained from the dog by peroral biopsy using both the paediatric and adult versions of a single biopsy capsule and a multiple biopsy system. The operation of the equipment and the biopsy procedures are detailed and the application of the techniques to the biopsy of forty‐six animals is discussed. © 1979 British Small Animal Veterinary Association
