摘要
Distinctly faster is the hydrolysis of the diester 2‐hydroxypropyl‐para‐nitrophenylphosphate when a Binuclear copper complex containing a seven‐coordinate bridging ligand (six N and one O ligating sites) is used as catalyst instead of a mononuclear Cu complex. The proposed mechanism, which is supported by the X‐ray crystal structure of the analogous dibenzylphosphate‐Cu2 complex, is shown on the right. It postulates a simultaneous activation of the ester by both metal centers. (Figure Presented.) Copyright © 1993 by VCH Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Germany
