PION FORM FACTOR AND MASS SPECTRUM OF BOSONS

An assignment of all I= 1 2 and I=1 bosons within the framework of the dynamical group O(4.2) is proposed. The mass spectrum is obtained and new boson states are predicted. From the most general linear electromagnetic current in O(4,2) the pion form factor has been evaluated and differs from the ρ{variant}-meson contribution at high momentum transfers, in agreement with a recent experiment. With the new form factor the contribution of the single-meson intermediate state to the π+-π0 mass difference is 1.7 MeV. © 1982.
