ELECTRICAL RESISTIVITY AND MAGNETORESISTANCE OF DILUTE Mg-Nd, Mg-Gd, Ag-Nd, Ag-Gd and Ag-Ho ALLOYS

摘要
Measurements are presented in the liquid helium range. Nd in Mg and Ag behaves as a non magnetic impurity. The Gd alloys show an anomalous decrease of resistivity proportional to the concentration. In Ho alloys both negative and positive temperature coefficients are found for low and higher concentrations respectively. Magnetoresistance for Gd and Ho alloys is strongly temperature dependent.
