CRITICAL AND BARRIER FIELDS OF TYPE-II SUPERCONDUCTING CYLINDERS OF SMALL RADIUS

摘要
The fields at which single quantized flux threads overcome the surface barrier In a type-II superconducting cylinder of small radius are calculated. These fields are compared with thermodynamical critical fields for the formation of the flux threads and with the experimental values obtained by Boato, Gallinaro and Rizzuto. The agreement between theory and experiment directly Abrikosov's picture of type-II superconductivity.
