摘要
A ribonuclease (RNase) of Rhizopus sp. was crystallized from 0.5-0.6 saturated ammonium sulfate at pH 5.0. The crystal was found to be homogeneous electrophoretically and ultracentrifugally. The optimum pH of the RNase was 5.0 and optimum temperature was found in the range of 50-55 ° and it was inhibited by the divalent metal ions such as Zn++, Cu++ and Hg++, but not affected by ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). When the yeast RNA was digested with the enzyme, adenylic acid and guanylic acid were produced at a faster rate than the other mononucleotides. © 1969.
