摘要
Miracil D caused an increase in the intrinsic and relative viscosities of native calf thymus DNA. This effect was completely reversed by the addition of spermine (5·10-5 M, Mg2+ (5·10-3 M and Na+ (5·10-2 M. Experiments with a series of congeners indicated that alkylation of the proximal side-chain nitrogen of the drug and sulfoxidation of the ring system abolished activity. The effect of the congeners on relative viscosity correlated well with those on the heat denaturation profile of DNA. © 1969.
