ISOSPIN MIXING IN THE GIANT-DIPOLE RESONANCE

摘要
The amount of isospin mixing in the region of the giant dipole resonance was determined by a comparison of ±-capture reaction cross sections in self-conjugate and nonconjugate nuclei. For the two nuclei Mg24 and S32 Coulomb matrix elements Vc=11 and 4 keV at mean excitation energies of 17.6 and 15.7 MeV, respectively, were found. NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ne20,22(±,0),Si28,30(±,0), 4<~E±<~16 MeV; deduced Coulomb matrix elements. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
