摘要
The cyclic monomer [2.2]paracyclophane-1,9-diene (PCPDE) is directly polymerizable via ring-opening metathesis with the conventional catalyst system WCl6/2 epichlorohydrin/2 AlEt2Cl and the well-defined tungsten carbene [W(CHAr')(NAr)[OCMe-(CF3)2]2(THF)] (Ar=2,6-Me2C6H3,Ar'=o-MeOC6H4) (I) to poly(p-phenylene-vinylene) (PPV). PCPDE and 1,3,5,7-cyclooctatetraene form copolymers with cyclopentene using catalyst I.
