BIPHOTONIC IONIZATION OF AROMATIC CARBONYLS IN AN SDS MICELLE - FORMATION DYNAMICS OF THE SPIN-POLARIZED HYDRATED ELECTRON

摘要
The dynamics of the formation of the spin-polarized hydrated electrons (e(aq)-) photoejected from aromatic carbonyl compounds through the micellar SDS interface was studied by a time-resolved ESR technique. The emissively spin-polarized e(aq)- (g - 2.000 33 +/- 0.000 15) was formed by the reexcitation of the lowest excited triplet state. According to its signal decay, an unusually fast decay time of 0.7 +/- 0.2 mus for e(aq)- was obtained.
