Bubble pressures and saturated-liquid densities for {xCF3CH2OH + (1-x)H2O} with x = 0.01935, 0.05072, 0.1510, 0.3013, 0.5011, 0.6533, and 0.8513 have been measured at temperatures from 310 K to 420 K. The experimental uncertainties of temperature T, mole fraction x, bubble pressure pb, and saturated-liquid density ρ1 have been estimated to be no worse than ±3 mK, ±0.0008, ±0.9 kPa, and ±0.0010·ρ1, respectively. The results show that CF3CH2OH is miscible with H2O at all compositions. The bubble pressures indicate positive deviations from Raoult’s law at all temperatures measured and that the relative deviations increase with decreasing temperature. © 1993 Academic Press Ltd.
