摘要：

Powders of α-AlB12 and MgAlB14 were prepared by spontaneous crystallization from aluminium fluxes. The main properties of the powders such as the bulk weight, the dispersity, the specific surface area etc. were investigated. The optimum conditions for preparation by hot pressing of compacted samples from the powders were determined. Some mechanical properties of the samples and the temperature dependence of their microhardness were studied in the temperature range 20-900 °C. The temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity of the pressed samples was studied at temperatures ranging from 300 to 500 °C. © 1979.
