摘要
The reactions of seven lead compounds in molten sodium nitrite-potassium nitrite eutectic have been examined and the temperatures and stoichiometries of the reactions established. The thermal decomposition of lead(II) nitrite is the key reaction; this compound apparently being formed from lead(II) nitrate and chloride by anion exchange and from red lead on removal of lead(II) cations. Lead(IV), as oxide or oxyanion, oxidises nitrite to nitrate, while lead(II) oxide and metallic lead are relatively unreactive. © 1979.
