摘要
Using electroreflectance, we studied the electro-optic effects in semiconductor superlattices. These include the first systematic observation of superlattice Franz-Keldysh oscillations, allowing the determination of a superlattice reduced mass. Spectral features due to the Wannier-Stark effect were also observed. Experimental results are discussed in the light of a simplified theory based on the tight-binding approximation.
