NUMERICAL TRANSFER-KERNEL RESULTS FOR A CLASSICAL SPIN CHAIN WITH ANISOTROPIC EXCHANGE INTERACTION AND A MAGNETIC-FIELD

摘要
Numerical transfer-kernel results are presented for thermostatic properties of two types of classical spin chains with nearest-neighbor spin-spin coupling. First, we have studied a chain in zero magnetic field with varying anisotropy in the coupling. Second, we have carried out computations for an antiferromagnetically coupled easy-plane chain with an in-plane field. The results may serve to isolate quantum effects in the results for corresponding quantum spin- 1 2 chains given in a preceding paper. © 1990.
