Substitutions of Ln were investigated on Ln1.85Ce0.15CuO4 (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu) and La0.85Ln'Sr0.15CuO4 (Ln' = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd) in relation to the pressure effect of T(c). The T(c) values decreased with increasing atomic number of Ln3+ in both the T'-phase of Ln1.85Ce0.15CuO and the T-phase in La0.85Ln'Sr0.15CuO4. The decrease in T(c) agrees with the negative pressure effect of the T'-phase but conflicts with the positive pressure dependence of T(c) in the T-phase. The oxygen amount, which is crucial for the superconducting transition temperature T(c), changed as well as the lattice parameter with the Ln substitution.
