摘要
Radiation pressure force components exerted on a particle arbitrarily located in a Gaussian beam are computed within the framework of the generalized Lorenz-Mie theory. Beside reference data, results relevant to optical levitation experiments are provided and the influence of the Gaussian character of the beam on resonance structures is discussed.
