摘要
The phase structure of palladium catalysts poisoned by metal ions was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrochemical polarization (EP) and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) methods. Bulk alloy formation during liquid phase hydrogenation at 295-350 K could be detected. Both ordered (Pd3Pb, Pd5Ge, PdGe, PdHg, Pd2Hg5) and disordered (Pd-Sn, Pd-Cd, Pd-Hg) alloys were identified. Alloy formation on a commercial 10 wt.-% palladium on carbon catalyst may already be significant after 15 min. T(m) and atomic radius of the poisoning metal are considered to be the most important variables, but the effects of the other parameters are also discussed.
