摘要
The photo-injector presented at the FEL-88 Conference is now completely assembled. Performances of the main components will be outlined. The photo-injector beam dynamics has been simulated by using different codes and the results will be compared. By integrating the main components under development (photo-injector, 433 MHz rf cavity, rf generator, wiggler and optical cavity) a FEL experiment (called ELSA), presently under construction, will be performed in the 20 μm range. The expected performances will be presented. © 1990.
