摘要
Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity was investigated in eight marine species of potential value for monitoring pesticides. AChE, BUChE and PChE activities were compared, and optimal conditions of extraction, storage and measurement were determined. TRIS extract buffer 0·1 M, ph8, was found to provide good specific production. AChE activity was not altered by freezer storage at -20°C. Optimal measurement temperatures ranged from 20 to 34°C, and pH was optimal between 6·5 and 8·5. To monitor the effects of anticholinesterase compounds, it is preferable to measure inhibition on plaice (Pleuronectes platessa) and common prawn (Palaemon serratus) which have high activity levels. © 1990.
