EFFECT OF SIMULTANEOUS HELIUM INJECTION ON DEFECT CLUSTER NUCLEATION IN IRRADIATED METALS

摘要
A time-dependent nucleation model, developed to describe both interstitial loop formation and growth and vacancy clustering during irradiation, has been modified to include mobile helium. Number densities of vacancy and interstitial clusters have been calculated as functions of time for simultaneous production of helium and displacement damage and for helium implantation followed by displacement damage. The results are compared with those obtained when no helium was present. © 1979.
