摘要
The present work has been aimed to study the production mechanism of deuterons in high-energy interactions of protons with heavy nuclei. The various features that have been studied are the multiplicity, angular distribution, momentum, and transverse momentum of deuterons and protons. The deuteron-to-proton ratio as a function of angle, momentum, and transverse momentum has been investigated. The results have been compared with the predictions of the various theoretical models. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
