摘要
The elasticity matrix of a general-purpose finite element program, SAPIV, is modified in such a way that it becomes possible to idealize water as a structural finite element with zero shear modulus. Using the modified version of SAPIV, several solid-fluid interaction problems are solved. The numerical solutions are compared with the available analytical solutions. They are shown to be in reasonable agreement. Also, by solving an exterior shell-fluid interaction problem, the pressure wave propagation in the acoustic medium is presented. The uses of both the direct-integration and the mode-superposition options of the program are investigated for the timeintegration of the interaction problems. © 1979.
