摘要：

The list of VAN earthquake predictions are compared with the earthquakes contained in independent catalogues, such as NOAA and EMSC. The present analysis leads to the conclusion that there is an obvious correlation if we select the strongest magnitudes in both data sets. This conclusion does not hold for smaller magnitudes.
