摘要
New measurements of the kinetic energy release in the dissociation of energy-selected acetone ions, obtained by a photoelectron-photoion coincidence technique are reported. Dissociations forming both CH3CO+ and CH3+ are observed and the mean energy releases are found to be in generally good agreement with earlier determinations. The distributions of kinetic energy which are presented show higher resolution than has previously been possible and are discussed in terms of a statistical-dynamical dissociation theory. © 1979.
