摘要
The world's first 20 T superconducting magnet system is described and some design criteria are considered. It is a laboratory magnet built from commercially available superconductors. The possibilities of magnetic fields beyond 20 T by means of superconductors is discussed under the aspects of the momentary state of the art. © 1990.
