摘要
Five taxa of green soil algae, in five genera, survived 35 years of desiccation in the laboratory, a decrease of two taxa since our 25-year study. We determined that in each gram of dry soil approximately 30-50 algal cells were still viable after 35 years, down from 2000 viable cells per gram ten years ago.
