OBSERVATION OF ACRYLONITRILE MOLECULAR ANION IN THE GAS-PHASE

摘要
The molecular anion of acrylonitrile was produced in the gas phase by collisional electron transfer from a high-Rydberg atom, Rg** (Rg = Kr or Ar), to an acrylonitrile or acrylonitrile-d1 molecule. The observed negative-ion mass spectra of m/z 53 or 54 indicate that both vertical and adiabatic electron affinities of the molecules are positive. The molecular anion of acrylonitrile was also produced by evaporative electron attachment to acrylonitrile clusters.
