摘要
Radiopharmaceutical fluoride - **1**8F preparations from reactor-irradiated lithium carbonate are found to contain tritium in the forms of acetate - **3H, formate - **3H and water - **3H. Most of the tritium activity from such fluorine-18 preparations clears from the serum of test rabbits with an effective half-life of ca. 3. 5 days while the remainder (ca. 6%) clears with an effective half-life of about 3 weeks.
