Schizophrenia was systematically described by Kraepelin.1 Since that time on, there have been numerous attempts to find a reliable clinical test that can help in the diagnosis of this disorder. One promising test is the 11-item questions, which was first used by Schneider.2 Recently, the World Health Organization has evaluated the validity of Schneider First Rank Symptoms in nine countries.3 It was concluded that the test is useful in the diagnosis of schizophrenia on an international scale.
