摘要
A statistical technique proposed for the estimation of the uncertainty in the prediction of phosphorus concentration in lakes using the Dillon‐Rigler‐Kirchner model can increase the practical value of this and similar models. The usefulness of this technique can be seen in its application to Lake Charlevoix, Michigan. But there are limitations on the use of this procedure, such as those that relate to model and data uncertainty. Copyright 1979 by the American Geophysical Union.
