摘要
Silicon oxynitride, a relatively new ceramic that has desirable properties for applications in high-temperature nuclear reactors, was found to be resistant to gross damage and major dimensional changes during intense fast-neutron irradiation at temperatures from less than 100 degree C to similar 800 degree C.
