摘要
1. 1. Serious errors arise in the measurement of the release of dissolved amino acids by marine animals if incubation times are greater than a few hours. Longer incubation times allow bacteria to reach high densities and to remove significant quantities of amino acids from solution. 2. 2. This probably explains the conflict between those who find that marine crustaceans release dissolved amino acids and those who fail to detect this release. © 1969.
