摘要
This paper discusses the identification of ions produced in nuclear reactions. The use of detector telescopes to provide energy loss information and the manipulation of the ΔE and E signals to identify the ions is emphasized. The value of combining this method with measurement of mass by time of flight between the detectors, and thereby producing a two-dimensional M vs MZ2 picture is illustrated. © 1979.
