摘要
New closed-form expressions are derived and presented to compute the three-dimensional magnetostatic field of a hollow cylinder of finite thickness when the current has a longitudinal component. The results are valid for problems with no magnetic materials. It is shown that the solution can be written in terms of complete and incomplete Jacobian elliptic functions of the first and second kind. Results of a specific configuration are compared with a numerical solution.
