摘要
We measure the photoelectron spectra of (Bi, Pb)-Ca-Sr-Cu-O single crystals cleaved in ultrahigh vacuum perpendicular to the c axis for photon energies between 14 and 22 eV, various angles of detection, and different orientations between the polarization vector of the incident synchrotron radiation and wave vector of the excited electron. Our results, analyzed by determination of the binding energy and the intensity of the main peaks by means of a least-squares fit for all spectra, compare favorably with energy bands calculated within the local-density-functional approach. At the Fermi energy we identify the band forming the electron pocket around M». © 1990 The American Physical Society.
