摘要
If there is both internal and external resistance to the transfer of heat and matter to a catalytic particle some interesting combinations of effects may arise. Since multiple steady states can be obtained when only one of the resistances is considered, there is a range of parameters for which five steady states are possible in the general case. This is shown by a fairly comprehensive calculation for a first order, non-isothermal reaction in the slab. The general features of the results will carry over to particles of any shape. © 1969.
