Noting that there is no 2nd order Z-exchange in the reaction e+e- → γγ, we emphasize its interest for pursuing QED tests at high energy and for studying directly high-order weak effects. Kinematical quantities (cross sections and polarizations) required for these tests are defined in the most general way in order to account for any unexpected effect. Calculations of 4th order weak terms are performed in the framework of SU(2) × U(1) gauge theory; corrections to QED appear to be less than 1% in the energy range of future colliding beams. © 1979.
