A THEORY OF THE SCANNING TUNNELING SPECTROSCOPY OF THE QUASI-PARTICLE IN THE SUPERCONDUCTOR SEMICONDUCTOR SUPERCONDUCTOR JUNCTION

摘要
The local DOS of the superconductor-semiconductor-superconductor junction is obtained with use of Green's function method. With use of this local DOS, the tunneling conductance (dI/dV) is calculated which reproduces well the scanning tunneling spectroscopy by Inoue et. al. The spatial dependence of (dI/dV) suggests that the pair potential takes finite value in the semiconductor region.
