摘要
Graphite exfoliation by the reaction between MoCl5-GIC with hydrazine at room temperature was studied at Kamisunagawa, Hokaido in Japan. Graphite exfoliation under microgravity (μG) was compared with exfoliation performed under normal gravity (1G). More exfoliation occurred under μG although there were no significant morphological differences observed with graphite particles exfoliated under 1G and μG. However, SEM micrographs revealed that graphites exfoliated under μG were apportioned into balloons much smaller in size than those exfoliated under 1G. Further studies on exfoliation under higher room temperatures were recommended to determine the merits of graphite exfoliation under room temperature.
