摘要
The problem of fine tuning the rule base of a fuzzy system is addressed in this paper. A method is proposed that treats the rule base of the fuzzy system as a multivariate function and performs parameter optimization to approach the desired rule base output with the given set of rules. The method is explained in detail and an application of it on two different rule bases is presented. This work is part of a research effort in robotic precision assembly using fuzzy logic.
