摘要
The diterpenes from the plants of the genus Isodon (Labiatae) exhibited a relatively specific growth inhibitory activity against lepidopterous larvae. The a-methylene cyclo- pentanone moiety (D-ring) was essential for this activity. In addition, these compounds strongly inhibited the oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria isolated from silkworm midgut. © 1979, by the Agricultural Chemical Society of Japan.
