The current EPO view is set out on a number of important and topical aspects of the provision of patent information by the EPO. Topics covered include; the quality of the data in the databases made available to the public the importance of expert users of such databases providing advice and feedback WIPO standards PatCom, the EPO and the commercial sector progress on providing full print copies through esp@cenet (R) the emphasis on business aspects of patent information setting up a Chinese helpdesk, and the European publication server.
