摘要
The possibility of coherent sound generation by the direct interaction of nonequilibrium (optically overheated) electrons with the crystal lattice is examined. It is demonstrated that the duration of the excited acoustic pulse can be controlled by the laser pulse duration and may be less then a picosecond.
