COMPARISON OF LINEAR SCAN AND STAIRCASE VOLTAMMETRY - EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS

摘要
The influence of characteristic staircase parameters on the extent of similarity between staircase and linear scan voltammograms is investigated. Conditions for which voltammograms are in agreement within experimental error are established. Experiments using ferric oxalate show, as predicted by previous theoretical work, that staircase voltammograms are analogues of linear sweep voltammograms if the current sampling is done at one-fourth the step length and the density of data points in the staircase curve is not too low.
