摘要
In simulation studies, mean, percentiles, or proportions are often used to summarize meaurements of system performance. Procedures are described for estimating confidence intervals for each of these three statistics. It is concluded that proportions are generally best suited to computer simulation studies. Empirical data is presented that clarifies the procedures and justifies the recommendation of proportions.
