摘要
Pb2MnO4 was prepared and investigated by single crystal X-ray technique (space group D2d4 - P42(1)cBAR; a = 12.773; c = 5.142 angstrom; Z = 8). Pb2MnO4 crystallizes with a new structure type, it is not isotypic to Pb2PbO4 or Pb2PtO4. The main difference of the new structure type concerns zig-zag-chains of edge connected MnO6-octahedra. The polyhedra network and the tunnel frame of Pb2+ are nevertheless very similar to the Pb3O4 structure.
