摘要：

Superinfection tests showed that animals with chronic P. cynomolgi bastianellii infections were immune to challenge with P. cynomolgi bastianellii, and were also protected to a high degree against challenge with P. cynomolgi cynomolgi. In contrast P. cynomolgi ceylonensis challenge resulted in severe infections in the animals with chronic P. cynomolgi bastianellii. The immunity was shown to decrease rapidly after cure. © 1969 Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
