摘要
Simulation of dynamic gas flow within a pipe-network requires a mathematical model of the whole network. Such models consist of large systems of non-linear partial differential equations describing the pipe flow, with boundary conditions which are ordinary differential or algebraic equations. In addition, the models include ordinary differential equations for the measuring and control devices. A simulation program has been developed for this type of problem. Here, we describe the applied numerical methods used, and their properties. © 1979.
